#5: NoBu 57
NoBu is Robert DeNiro's resturant and is apparently phenomenal. They serve mainly Japanese cuisine but NoBu also throws in some Pan-Asian dishes as well. From the pictures, the decor looks stunning and I hear the food is great and it should be, as the prices are through the roof!
Megu is a luxurious
restaurant on 62 Thomas St. They serve a Modern Japanese cuisine and feature a full sushi bar. From the pictures the restaurant looks absolutely stunning. The lounge area's walls are designed with authentic Japanese crafts and the main dinning room consists of clay walls and a 5 foot Buddha ice sculpture situated in the middle of the room. I really want to try this place out and see if it lives up to all the hype! The Stanton Social is a trendy tapas bar located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. They serve an American and International Cuisine. The restaurant is essentially a trendy tapas bar that can also double as a beautiful lounge. Looking at the menu, this place has a little bit of everything and is perfect for any budget.
#2: One Little West 12
One Little West 12 is a trendy bar/lounge located in the Meatpacking District. They serve International and American cuisine. The images of the restaurant look stunning as it looks like the perfect hang out spot for a Friday night. Oh, another thing about One Little West 12, its massive...well not Buddakan massive but still its pretty impressive. I'm definitely checking this place out in the near future!
#1: Buddha-Bar
Ahh the legendary Buddha-Bar. The loud, showy and trendy Pan-Asian restaurant located once again, in the Meatpacking district. The ambiance I hear is quite similar to Tao as it features top notch Modern Asian decor and loud dance music blasting all over the restaurant...and I forgot to mention the massive Buddha statue situated in the dining room. With two other locations in Paris and Dubai, Buddha-Bar finally hit New York and according to word of mouth, is definitely worth a visit!
